A bathing aid has a seat that can be hydraulically lowered into and lifted out of a bath tub. In order to save space, to optimize the use of the available space and to ensure safe movement, a base frame (1) that can be mounted in the bath tub (10) is composed of a bottom frame (2) and of two telescopic hydraulic cylinders (3, 4) that extend therefrom and fit into each other, hingedly linked by their upper end to the upper edge of a seating frame (15) with a back-rest (20). The hydraulic cylinders (3, 4) are joined to the cold water fittings of the bath tub by a switchable multipath valve (30). |
