PURPOSE:To dampen vibration immediately even when the vibration due to the collision of an armature and a core is transmitted to a nose plate by constituting a printing head of the damping mass, damping material and elastic member provided to the nose plate and the rigid member provided on the elastic member so as to form a pair. CONSTITUTION:A damping mass 17 formed from a ring-shaped plate composed of a rigid body is fixed on a nose plate 11 by screws through several spring members 18. The damping mass 17 is formed of mass generating no vibration itself even when the nose plate 11 is vibrated and the vibration of the nose plate 11 is damped by the frictional contact with the nose plate 11. A damping material 21 can be provided to the nose plate 11 in place of the damping mass 17 and the material thereof is pref. silicone rubber. Since a printing head reaches 100-150 deg.C during use, said printing head is pref. formed from a heat-resistant material. Further, a rigid member 23 is provided on a ring-shaped elastic member 22 composed of rubber to form a sandwich structure. The vibration of the nose plate is absorbed by said elastic member 22. |
