In order to facilitate fastening on the pillar teeth, in particular, by means of adhesive technique, firmly seated dental bridges are made of a fibre-reinforced plastic. The plastic readily enters a firm chemical adhesive bond with the fixing composite. The required strength and rigidity are imparted by the fibre reinforcement.
