<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the grounding of a gas insulating equipment by fixing an ultrasonic sensor detecting the electrical abnormal phenomenon of the insulating spacer into a recessed section on the outer circumference of the insulating spacer supporting a high voltage conductor. CONSTITUTION:When a metallic foreign matter P adheres on the surface of an insulating spacer 2 in a metallic vessel 1, the motion of the metallic foreign matter P by electric force or partial discharge by the metallic foreign matter P is generated and ultrasonic waves are generated when voltage is applied. The ultrasonic waves are propagated in the insulating spacer 2 and reach to an ultrasonic sensor 12 fastened to the insulating spacer 2, an output from the sensor 32 is introduced to an amplifier 14 through a cable 13, and amplified through a band pass filter, and specified display is conducted by the deflection, etc., of a meter in an indicating instrument 15. Accordingly, the generation of a major accident can be prevented.</p> |
