PURPOSE:To always stably form an image by providing an electrode which generates an electric field for feeding toner on a toner carrier to the side of a body to be transferred so that the toner held on the toner carrier is transferred to the side of the body to be transferred corresponding to the image. CONSTITUTION:By impressing an electrical signal corresponding to the image on the electrode 8, the electric field for feeding the toner held on the toner carrier 4 to the body to be transferred is generated between the toner carrier 4 and the body to be transferred. The toner held on the toner carrier 4 is selectively supplied to the side of the body to be transferred with the aid of the electric field and a specified toner image consisting of many dots corresponding to the image can be transferred on the body to be transferred, so that the image is formed. Thus, the image can be always stably formed. |
