PURPOSE:To shorten a trouble recovery time to a large extent by holding the drawing data of one page according to the indication of an interface control module by a bit map memory module for storing said drawing data until the printing of the drawing data is perfectly finished. CONSTITUTION:When printing data of one page or more become complete, a microprocessor module 1 reads said printing data from a page buffer 12 to deliver said data to a font memory module 11 and inputs the character pattern to each printing data to the first bit map memory 3a in a bit map memory module 3A. The bit map memory module 3A prohibits the erasure of drawing data by itself according to the indication from an interface control module 4 even when the reading of the drawing data itself is stopped by the trouble of a printer and, therefore, the drawing data in the bit map memory module is in a perfect shape and, at the time of re-printing, the drawing data can be again read from the biginning. |
