PURPOSE:To reduce an error largely, and to improve reliability by controlling the comparison value of timer count by error information determined by the period of timer count and a timer setting in a digital type protective relay. CONSTITUTION:In a counter comparison-value setting means 12, timer error information Cepsilon is compared with a specified value k in an S2X-1-5. A counter comparison value CD and a counter value (n) are compared in an S2X-1-7, the presence of a timer output is determined in S2X-1-8 when n>=CD holds, and the value of (n) is clamped while n CD holds. The absence of the timer output is determined in the S2X-1-9 when n<CD holds. Consequently, processing is completed, and main processing is started again after an mT period. The same processing is repeated subsequently. Accordingly, the error of 11.68msec of a conventional device is brought to 5.0msec, thus largely improving a timer error. |
