<p>PURPOSE:To join a tube fitting to a hose simply by inserting a hose between a shaft portion and a connecting ring extending from the large-diameter hole portion side of the first cylinder member to the small-diameter hole portion side. CONSTITUTION:The end portion of a hose 15 is inserted extending from the large- diameter hole portion side 12b of the first cylinder member 12 of a tube fitting 11 to the small-diameter hole portion side 12a until it is brought into contact with a flange portion of the second cylinder member 14 between the shaft portion 14c and the connecting ring 16 and engaged therewith. When the internal pressure is loaded, the flange portion 14a of the second cylinder member 14 is slid along the inner wall of the large-diameter hole portion 12b in the axial direction by fluid pressure, so that the connecting ring 16 is moved closer to an engaging member 17, with the outside surface portion 16 pressed to the flange portion 14a. The connecting ring 16 is pressed to be decreased in diameter by the flange portion 14a and the engaging member 17, and the peripheral portion of the inner peripheral portion eats into the outer peripheral portion of the hose 15 to firmly join the end portion of the hose and a tube fitting. Thus, the hose and the tube fitting can be joined to each other simply without a fastening device, a jig or the like.</p> |
