SURFACE TREATMENT OF MOLDING OF FLUORINATED OLEFIN POLYMER

PURPOSE:To improve adhesion between the surface of a fluorinated olefin polymer and a polyolefin-based hot-melt by carrying out two-step spatter etching treatment of a fluorinated olefin polymer molding under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A fluorinated olefin polymer molding is subjected to the first- step spatter etching treatment in >=7.5W.sec/cm<2> the product of discharge power and throughout time under 0.005-0.5Torr ambient pressure. The surface treatment of the fluorinated olefin polymer molding is carried out by the second-step spatter etching treatment in 0.1-50W.sec/cm<2> the product of discharge power and throughout time under 0.005-0.5Torr ambient pressure of steam. Films or sheets of the above-mentioned molding laminated by a hot-melt adhesive are useful as a sealing material for a light emitting element.
