<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the surface adsorption of a polor molecule and the leakage current of a liquid crystal panel by composing a liquid crystal oriented element of a polyimide having a molecular structure which does not contain a hetero atom other than carbon and hydrogen atoms. CONSTITUTION:The oriented film 4 is composed of the polyimide which has a condensed structure of tetra carboxylic acid anhydride component and a diamine component, and is shown by formula I. In the formula, R and R' are each a group contg. at least an aromatic ring or an aliphatic ring group, and the group R' is composed of the group which does not contain the hetero atom other than carbon atom and hydrogen atom. Thus, the surface adsorption of the polar molecule is reduced, and the leakage current of the liquid crystal panel is reduced.</p> |
