PURPOSE:To obtain a compact vacuum cooker by horizontally loading a cylinder and a piston both for deaeration within the main body casing rotatably pivoted on a horizontal shaft and by sealing the upper part opening edge of a vessel to be deaerated with the bottom plate of said casing. CONSTITUTION:The piston 41 and cylinder 51 of a pump to deaerate a vessel 2 are horizontally loaded within the main body casing 3 pivoted on the shaft 15 of a supporting column so as to be rotatable from a horizontal position to a position with the front lifted to a required degree. The upper part opening edge of the vessel 2 is sealed with a bottom plate 33 of the casing 3 at a hori zontal position, and a suction port 333 and a suction channel at the bottom of the cylinder are mutually communicated through a short channel 71. |
