<p>NEW MATERIAL:A human vascular endothelial cell-derived transforming cell having the following cytological properties: Form, paving stone like; origin, vascular endothelical cell separated from human; subculture, capable of permanently propagating; growth factor-requiring properties, capable of propagating in a culture medium containing none of vascular endothelical cell growth factor and heparin; function, capable of exhibitn g plasminogen activation factor- producing ability derived from a tissue nearly similar to human normal vascular endothelial cell; blood coagulation VIII factor- producing ability, capable of producing a blood coagulation VIII factor which is characteristic of the vascular endothelical cell. USE:For production of plasminogen activation factor (tPA) derived from a tissue of fibrinolytic agent. PREPARATION:A human unbilicla cord vein is treated with trypsin and a cell suspension is collected and SV 40 DNA of a valiant strain incapable of propagating virus because of loss of original point of replica is introduced into the above-mentioned cell and transformed and subjected to subculture and cloned to provide the human vascular endothelical cell-derived transforming cell.</p> |
