The air-cleaner is for a portable machine. A tubular main filter (3) is pressed against the machine frame (1) by a first holder (13) screwing onto a spindle in the frame. An air-cleaner cover (4) is secured by a second holder (15) also screwing onto the spindle (12) above the main filter. A pre-filter (21) is mounted between the main filter and the cover, enclosing the peripheral wall (24) of the former and is supplied directly with the ambient air. USE - For a chainsaw engine etc., being simple and easily cleaned without foreign bodies falling into the carburetor. |
