PURPOSE:To obtain ice cream having improved nutrient value, by adding roast and powdered barley to a syrup obtained by mixing water, sugar, starch syrup, and condensed milk. CONSTITUTION:Syrup is prepared by mixing 65% of water, 20% of sugar, 2.5% of starch syrup, 2.5% of condensed milk and 10% of barley. The syrup is sterilized at 80 deg.C, homogenized, cooled, and mixed with roasted and powdered barley. The syrup mixture is filled in a proper container and packaged to obtain the product. |
