<p>PURPOSE:To obtain sludge water having a low content of org. matter as a treated water from the lower part of a vessel wherein a cylinder is provided to the equally spaced plates alternately on opposite sides by rotating an impeller between the plates, injecting a liq. mixture of sewage and activated sludge from the upper part of the vessel, and introducing air or oxygen from the lower part. CONSTITUTION:The hollow vessel A is hermetically sealed by the plate B as the partition wall in the horizontal direction, and the hollow cylinder C is allowed to pierce the plate B at an optional position of the plate B and alternately set on the opposite sides. The impeller G is set between the respective plates B, and rotated by a motor H. A liq. mixture of sewage and activated sludge is injected from an injection port D at the upper part of the vessel A, and air or oxygen is introduced from a gas inlet F at the lower part of the vessel A. As a result, a gas phase is retained under each plate B, the org. matter in the sewage is decomposed in a short time under oxygen-rich conditions, and sludge water having a low content of org. matter can be obtained as treated water from a water intake E at the lower part of the vessel A.</p> |
