PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition for oral cavity application containing a non-cationic bactericide as a bactericidal component, having improved systemic bactericidal power to a biofilm and retention of the bactericidal agent and keeping good stability of the appearance. SOLUTION: The liquid composition for oral cavity application contains (A) 0.001-0.10 mass% one or more substances selected from non-cationic bactericidal agents, (B) 0.05-3 mass% carboxymethyl cellulose sodium having an etherification degree of 2.0-2.8 at a (non-cationic bactericide)/(carboxymethyl cellulose sodium) mass ratio of 0.01-0.5, (C) a nonionic surfactant and (D) ethanol.
