PURPOSE: To safely and easily bond paper sheets in a binder by providing a part in contact with an opening/closing type cover binder which is a base part, and a unit for controlling a current flowing to the binder. CONSTITUTION: A binder heater 10 comprises a base 12 and a cover 14. A book 54 has a cover 56 including a cover, a rear cover and a backbone and a plurality of discrete paper sheets 58 bound in the cover 56 in such a manner that a heat-activable adhesive is provided on the backbone of the binder. A timing system is provided in an electronic chamber 26 of the base 12 to supply predetermined currents to electric contacts 68, 70 for a predetermined time to melt the adhesive and bonds the sheets 58 to the binder. All the heating operations and all the contacts are disposed in an enclosure of the base and the cover, contained in the binder to obtain safety to the maximum limit.
