Stackable chair

A stackable chair has a frame which comprises, in planes running approximately parallel to a plane running perpendicularly through the backrest (24), approximately U-shaped frame sections, the sides (16, 17) of which, i.e. the chair legs, point upwards, while the curve (13) of the U is situated at the bottom. In the front region of at least one such U-shaped frame section, there is provided an element (14) which comprises a projection (33') which is supported, upon stacking, against a corresponding front side (17), i.e. a front chair leg, of the chair below. <IMAGE>
