<p>An ignition circuit for an internal combustion engine comprises a customary primary circuit. The secondary circuit is modified by connecting the end (21) of the secondary winding (L2) not connected to the central electrode of a spark plug (24) to vehicle earth so as to cause the discharge current of the capacitance of the secondary winding (L2) to flow directly to earth whereby substantially reducing radio frequency interference and inhibiting interference in the cable harness due to ignition interference.</p> |
