Disposably based anti-infection system for waste disposal in the medical sector

The status of present waste disposal in the medical sector is defective in many places. The number of puncture and cutting wounds caused during disposal is very high in this area. The resulting protective inoculations and after-treatment create enormously high costs for those responsible. Recycling of refuse in the medical sector is unknown. The problem is solved by a combination of a masking plate with insertion apertures and a retaining apparatus in stainless steel design, coloured protective containers with labels, and collection containers as disposable containers. The system minimises the risk of injury to operatives and, by separating the materials, facilitates return for recycling. The design is cost-effective for the user in the long term.
