PURPOSE:To secure safety by delaying the time of starting detection when the combustion is started for the first time after starting the operation of space-heating by more than 50% of the time of starting during the continued combustion in the space-heating operation and/or when the combustion is restarted. CONSTITUTION:The state of combustion in the combustion chamber 4 of a burner 2 which incorporates a heat exchanger 5 for heating warm water is detected by a flame electrode 21 which detects the flame electric current flowing in the flame at a specified time interval, and if the inside of the combustion chamber 4 is in the state of incomplete combustion, the combustion is stopped by a combustion controller of the burner 2, and if it is in the state of complete combustion the combustion is continued. The time to start sensing the state of combustion at the time of starting combustion for the first time after starting the space-heating operation is delayed by sensing means of time delaying by more than 50% than during the continued combustion of the space-heating operation and/or the restarting combustion for sensing timing by combustion sensing means 21. Accordingly even if the checking of incomplete combustion of a burner 3 is set up in a relatively short period, it can be done in the state that the flame is in the stable area, and combustion control of the burner 2 can be carried out without faulty actions. |
