PURPOSE:To shorten an inspecting time and to prevent the generation of inspec tion leakage by simultaneously picking up plural pattern areas on a printed circuit board and sorting the patterns into patterns consisting of only signal lines, patterns consisting of only power supply ground lines and patterns consisting of coexisted lines of signal and ground lines. CONSTITUTION:Plural CCD cameras 3 are arranged on the printed circuit board 1, plural pattern areas are simultaneously picked up and the plural patterns are temporarily stored in a pattern memory 6. Respective pattern data stored in the pattern memory 6 are sorted into patterns consisting of only signal lines, patterns consisting of only power supply ground lines and patterns having both the signal lines and ground lines by the decision operation of a previously pro grammed command through a pattern dividing part 7. These patterns are succes sively transferred to a defect recognizing circuit 9b, the patterns consisting of only the signal lines are collated by a signal layer design rule and the patterns consisting of only the power supply ground lines are collated by a power supply ground layer design rule. Consequently, the generation of inspec tion leakage can be prevented. |
