PURPOSE:To enable to inhibit effectively the surge generated by the switching operation of a disconnector by disposing structure bodies made of magnetic material at the periphery part of a high-voltage conductor disposed at the oppo site side to the contacts of the disconnector with an insulating spacer in be tween. CONSTITUTION:A disconnector comprising a pair of separable contacts and supported by an insulating spacer 2 in an earth metal container 1 with insulating gas 3 sealed in is provided. Cylindrical structure bodies 30 made of magnetic material are disposed at a high-voltage conductor 1 disposed at the opposite side to the contacts of the disconnector with the insulating spacer 2 in between. Sharp step-formed progressive waves generated between the poles of the disconnector first reach the insulating spacer part 2 so that the sharp element contained in the step-formed progressive waves is absorbed by the insulating spacer 2. The magnetic material part disposed at the opposite side with the insulating spacer in between can be thus prevented from being impressed by the high frequency constituent voltage.
