PURPOSE:To display a desired destination easily and exactly on a desired map, by changing over and selecting the contents of a memory for map data and a memory for destination coordinate data and synthesizing and displaying the same. CONSTITUTION:A selection circuit 22 for map data in a memory part 22 for map data is controlled with a map change-over circuit 18 which responds to a keyboard 19, and the data on the desired map in a memory 21 for map data is selected. At the same instant, the destination coordinate data corresponding to the map data selected from a memory 15 for destination coordinate data is read out with the destination retrieval circuit 14 in a memory part 13 for destination coordinate data responding to the keyboard 19 and the circuit 22. The desired map, the destination and the traveling loci corresponding to the traveling position of a vehicle are displayed on a CRT17 with a display synthesis circuit 16 by the easy operation which does not require hand writing, etc. |
