The invention relates to a device making it possible to filter the air taken into the passenger compartment of vehicles in order to improve the comfort and agreeableness thereof in urban driving. It consists of an adaptor 2 of size and shape which can be varied due to the nature of the material (for example rubber) which lends itself to deformations as well as to cutting, provided at its centre with an orifice 3 intended to receive the filtering cartridge by various known means (for example a screw thread) provided with a dust filter to which can be added an active charcoal filter all being fixed to the ventilation of the vehicle 1 by various means (for example a glue gun). The device according to the invention is particularly intended to enhance the comfort of driving in town, and in general for individuals with sensitive respiratory tracts. <IMAGE>
