CONGESTION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SELF ROUTING SPEECH PATH EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To prevent any congestion from being caused in the inside of a speech path by controlling the state of input information inputted to a buffer memory even against a traffic having a burst property as in the case of data communication. CONSTITUTION:An output terminal state detection means STij detects the state at every output terminal of a self routing switch Sij and a congestion state detection means CCi detects the congestion state based on the result of detection of the output terminal state detection means STij. Furthermore, a control means Gij controls the state of inputting input information based on the result of the detection of the congestion state detection means CCi. The congestion state at every output terminal of the self routing switch Sij is detected by the congestion state detection means CCi from the state of the output terminal state detection means STij and the control means Gij controls the state inputting the input information in response to the result of detection by the congestion state detection means CCi. Thus, no congestion can take place in the inside of the channel.
