METHOD FOR DOFFING OF SPINNING MACHINE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To shorten the nonoperating time for doffing operation of a spinning machine frame as much as possible by carrying out exchange operation of full bobbins and empty bobbins between pegs of an intermediate receiving bar arranged at a position near spindles and the spindles. CONSTITUTION:Many spindles 3 are provided on a spindle rail 2 at a prescribed pitch and a bobbin conveyor 5 for conveying bobbins with peg trays 4 is arranged under the spindle rows. An intermediate receiving bar 6 is supported through a slide guide in front of the spindle rail 2 so as to enable reciprocation. Pegs (6a) for inserting bobbins are fixed at an interval of 1/2 of the spindle pitch on the top surface of the intermediate receiving bar 6. The transfer operation of empty bobbins (E) and full bobbins (F) between the conveyor 5 and the spindles is performed through the pegs (6a).
