The sports training appliance hydraulic cylinder unit, includes piston rod (1), cover (2), cylinder (3), lever (6), and cover (7) and accumulator (10). Appliance controls any required pressure for sports trainer unit. When cylinder moves left, liq., e.g. oil moves from chamber (A) to chamber (F) through duct (B), non return valve (C), and via adjustable aperture (D) through duct (E) into chamber (F). When cylinder moves in R.H. direction, fluid moves from chamber (F) to chamber (A) via ducts (E.H) through adjustable aperture (J) non-return valve (K) via duct (B) into chamber (A).
