PURPOSE:To enhance working efficiency by returning a folded corrugated board box material to the original rectangle to receive an article to be packed and placing said material on a moving table so that the opening parts of both surfaces thereof are turned in an up-and-down direction and allowing the same to pass between upper and lower staple driving guns to drive staples in both upper and lower surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A corrugated board box material having a collapsed shape is restored to a rectangle to receive an article to be packed therein and lid pieces 4b are bent to be superposed on a main body 4a and the packing box 4 thus formed is placed on a roller conveyor 2 being a moving table in such a state that the upper tongue pieces 4b are turned in an up-and-down direction to be moved on the roller conveyor 2 between staple driving guns 3a, 3b provided up and down. When the packing box 4 reaches the first position where staples must be driven, this state is detected by a sensor 3c to operate an air valve and staples are driven at predetermined positions by compressed air. After a plurality of staple driving processes are successively performed, the packing box 4 reaches the terminal of the roller conveyor 2. |
