The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tyre with a carcass which is wrapped around bead cores, of which at least one is subjected to pressure during operation. To avoid buckling of pressure-loaded bead cores of pneumatic vehicle tyres, without making it more difficult for these types to be fitted onto one-part rims, it is proposed according to the invention that the pressure-loaded bead cores consist of a shape-memory alloy which changes in its crystallisation at a temperature between 60@C and 95@C.
