The invention relates to a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission. According to the invention, a non-return valve (9) and an opening (7) in an oil supply passage (b) to a collector (10) are provided, so that the influence of oil flowing out of the collector (10) is eliminated when a hydraulic servo device (C1) is relieved of pressure. The hydraulic pressure is supplied to the servo device (C1) via an opening (6) and to the collector (10) via the oil supply passage (b), which is separated from the oil passage (a) to the servo device (C1), the non-return valve (9) being open. In the event of pressure relief, the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic servo device (C1) is quickly relieved, but the hydraulic pressure in the collector (10) is only gradually relieved (through opening 7) as a result of the non-return valve (9) which is now closed.
