It comprises a pair of labelling stations 1, 2, an adhesive-application cylinder 3, an extractor cylinder 4, means 21 for displacing the body to be labelled, actuating means 16, 17, and control means. The labelling stations supply the labels to the adhesive- application cylinder 3, where they have adhesive applied to them, being removed from the adhesive-application cylinder by the extractor cylinder 4 and passing from the latter to the body to be labelled. The two stations 1, 2 are arranged radially with respect to the adhesive-application cylinder 3 approximately at 120 degree with respect to each other and the control means comprise a connection device 6 synchronised with the adhesive-application cylinder 3 which connects alternately the means for actuation 16, 17 of the two stations 1, 2 so that, upon each rotation plus one third of the adhesive-application cylinder 3, the two stations 1, 2 supply two labels each.
