PURPOSE:To calculate and display the direction and distance of a destination point by preliminarily storing a place name or building name and the position coordinates data thereof in a memory device and selectively inputting the present position and the destination point. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pairs of the name and position data of a point are stored in a memory device 4. Then, by operating an operation key 1, an address signal is generated through a keyboard controller 2 and an address generation part 3 to output the name and position data of an arbitrary place. Latches 5, 6 store said output temporarily and output the point name data to a present position display means 7 and a destination display means 8, and also input the position coordinates data to a distance calculation means 9 and a direction calculation means 11. After the calculation, a distance and a direction are outputted to a distance display means 10 and a direction display means 12 to be displayed thereon and the direction can be also displayed on a direction meter 13. |
