PURPOSE:To obtain titled composition with its lubricating oil component having good circulation and shear stability, capable of forming a thick and firm lubricating film on a metallic material subject to rolling, comprising each specific lubricating oil component and water-soluble cationic or ampholytic polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) at least one sort of lubricating oil component selected from groups consisting of oils and fats, mineral oils and fatty acid esters and (B) at least one sort of water-soluble cationic ampholytic polymer containing, in one recurring unit, one or more basic or cationic nitrogen atoms and having an average molecular weight ranging from 1,000 to 10,000,000. |
