<p>PURPOSE:To elevate detection accuracy of the tip, and to prevent a grip error, etc., by forming a bent part on a part of the tip of transfer paper, and detecting the tip corresponding to this bent part by a sensor. CONSTITUTION:Before transfer paper 14 is brought into contact with a photosensitive body 11, a part of its tip is bent outward by a bending device. The transfer paper 14 transferred by a transfer and separation charger 12 is attracted by an attracting plate 38 of a carrying unit 30 and is carried to a fixing unit 29. On this way, the tip of the transfer paper 14 depresses a detecting filler 40, and by this signal, a gripper 33 fitted to a belt 32 grips the tip of the transfer paper after a constant interval of time, and passes through a heater 34 as it is. Since a bent part 41 is formed on the tip, the core of the tip becomes strong, and the tip bent downward is in a constant state, therefore, the detecting filler 40 is depressed exactly, variations for detecting the tip are eliminated, and a grip error, etc. by the gripper 33 are alos prevented.</p> |
