<p>PURPOSE:To permit a processing section on the article supply side to readily cope the variation of the kinds and quantities of commodities at a counter by conducting operations such as material processing, packaging, weighing and set-out, arranging the commodities in an ascending series on a tower station in succession and automatically conveying the commodities to a display shelf at the counter. CONSTITUTION:An operator, by a processing stand, conducts operations such as cutting of materials for commodities and printing on the bottom of a packaging tray its lot identification mark fed from an input device 35 or attaching the label bearing the same thereon. After reading the kind of the commodities from the lot by a read-out device 52, the unit and weight obtained by a weighing unit 46 and total price, date and the name of a store regarding the commodities are printed thereon by a computer. The commodities are sent to a tray 67 within a sorter 7 from a discharge opening 50 of the weigh-unit 46 of a tower station 5 through a chute 48 and the labels with setout items in print are attached thereto. In doing so, such commodities 11 can be placed in a cart 8 according to their positionings of the lot name and carried to their respective counters in succession.</p> |
