PURPOSE:To shorten a printing time and to simplify a control program by decelerating the printing speed of a head to print one line by one movement of the head when a high duty character is detected by a high duty detector. CONSTITUTION:Bits in a printing buffer 3 are added all for one line by a program in a control memory 2 by a high duty detector 6. If 30% or more of duty is detected, it is set to a high duty mode. Then, a third control clock generator 10 generates a control clock to decelerate the printing speed, thereby to decelerate the speed by driving a space motor 8, thereby reducing the substantial duty at a head pin fire interval by decelerating the speed to print one line by one movement of a head 5. Since one line can be printed by the one movement of the head 5, printing time can be shortened as compared with a normal three dividing printings. |
