PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition imparted with excellent flame- retardance without lowering the thermal stability and fluidity in molten state by compounding a thermoplastic polyester with a polycaprolactone, an organic halide, an antimony compound specific oxazoline compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester with (B) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a terminal-blocked polycaprolactone, (C) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of an organic halide in terms of halogen element, (D) 0.1-20 pts.wt. of an antimony compound in terms of antimony element and (E) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a compound of formula I (D is bivalent organic group; k is 0 or 1; X is bivalent organic group to form 5- or 6-membered ring of formula II). Polyethylene terephthalate is used as the thermoplastic polyester of the component A. |
