PURPOSE: To induce muscle shrinkage to paralyzed limbs not to depend upon a computer or another artificial timing apparatus by providing the apparatus with a means to excite the paralyzed limbs electrically and a means to act the exciting means in response to a continuous action of a sound limb. CONSTITUTION: A detecting means 25 functions so as to detect a position of a hand crank to output a position signal, which is transferred to exciting means 28, 29 through lead wires 26, 26'. In response to a position of the hand crank 16 shown by the detecting means 25, the exciting means 28 outputs a nerve muscle exciting signal to electrode pair 31, 33 through lead wires 30', 32'. The nerve signal excites the paralyzed muscle so as to shrink, thereby induces motion of the paralyzed limbs in response to continuous actions of a sound limb to rotate the hand crank. Then, a tricycle can be promoted by the paralyzed limbs.
