PURPOSE:To improve the weathering or light stability of a polyacetal resin in outdoor use by compounding a polyacetal resin with a weathering or light stabilizer and an acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:A polyacetal resin, 0.01-5wt.% (based on the total compsn.) at least one weathering or light stabilizer selected from the group consisting of a benzotriazole, a benzophenone, an aromatic benzoate, a cyanoacrylate, an oxalic acid anilide and a hindered amine, and 1-40wt.% (based on the total compsn.) acrylic resin [e.g., (meth)acrylic acid-acrylonitrile copolymer] are compounded, melted and mixed together. |
