PURPOSE:To make high speed marking feasible while having simple structure, being small-sized and low-priced by making a marking head part of a marker to approach a coated wire while utilizing a movement of a marker holder to give an identification mark. CONSTITUTION:A coated wire 3 is measured by sliding rollers 5 to be cut at the spot of the required length and a casing 3A is stripped on both sides at a cut spot in order to expose an end part of a core 3B. The wire 3 is held fast by handling mechanisms 10A, 10B for being transferred from the side of the cut and stripped part 6 distributing to each terminal bonding mechanism 27 to be positioned to each bonding position 27. A marking device 2 is positioned so as to be able to perform marking on a wire 3 in the bonding position 27. Terminal metal fittings 4 are bonded to the wire 3 with the terminal bonding mechanisms 7A and 7B. At the same time, a sliding piece 23 slides down by a reciprocating driving head 20 to push out a marker holder 13 in the right direction with a link 26 for giving different colors to the identification marks 11A and 11A by the marking head parts 12AP and 12BP. |
