MICROCAPSULE-CONTAINING WATER-BASE COATING FORMULATION AND COPYING AND/OR RECORDING MATERIAL MAKING USE OF SAID COATING FORMULATION

(a) microcapusles using a synthetic resin as wall-forming material; and (b) a reaction prod. obtd. by polymerising at least one water-soluble vinyl monomer (B) in the presence of a high polymer latex (A) having a glass transition point of 60 C or lower. Latex (A) and the monomer (B) are used at a solid wt. ratio of 3:97-90:10. Pref. the formulation also comprises talc. The formulation is useful in the prodn. of a microcapsule- using copying and/or recording material having much improved quality and productivity.
