<p>PURPOSE:To easily remove jammed transfer paper when the transfer paper jets jammed in a carrying path by press-contacting or separating a pair of manual paper feeding rollers provided in the main body of a picture forming device with or from each other in an interlocking way with the opening/closing of the jam processing cover of a device for housing a developing device. CONSTITUTION:A roller displacing means F which makes manual paper feeding rollers 54a and 54b in a picture forming device main body press-contacted and separated with and from each other in an interlocking way with the opening/closing operation of a jam processing cover 153 which is fitted to a device for housing a developing device in an opening/closing-free state is provided. Therefore, when a door 153 is opened as shown by broken lines, the gear 200 of the displacing means F rotates around a shaft 200a in the direction shown by the arrow and the front end 205 of a lever raises the roller fitting member 70 of the manual paper feeding roller 54a as shown by the 2-dotted chain lines. As a result, the rollers 54a and 54b are separated from each other. Therefore, when the jam processing cover is opened at the time of paper jamming at a paper feeding roller section, the jammed paper can be removed quickly, since the manual paper feeding rollers are separated from each other in an interlocking way with the opening of the cover.</p> |
