PURPOSE:To recognize the line quality quantitatively on a display on a liquid crystal display device by using a MODEM able to read a data representing a signal spatial diagram in the MODEM in the reception of a facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a line signal 11 is inputted to a line interface 1, a reception signal 12 gives an input to a MODEM 2 from an interface 1. A controller 4 receives a line quality data 13 from the MODEM 2 and transfers the data onto a liquid crystal display device on an operation panel 3 as a graphic data 14 of a signal spatial diagram. The MODEM 2 has a signal processing processor and is able to read a coordinate data representing the combination of the phase and amplitude of a reception signal in each modulation system and modulation speed obtained by the equalizing operation of an adaptive automatic equalizer in the inside by a host processor of the controller 4. Thus, it is possible to draw the signal spatial diagram on the liquid crystal display device. |
