PURPOSE: To cool an optical set device so as not to cause inconvenience even when the laser bundle of output exceeding 2kW is used by equally circulating a gas stream even on the one or more outer surfaces of second elements. CONSTITUTION: In cooling the optical set device provided with one or more first elements such as a lens or the like and one or more second elements such as a plate or the like arranged slightly separately from at least one surface of the first element for exposing the first elements and the second elements to an energy bundle by circulating the gas stream among the first elements and second elements of the device, the gas stream is equally circulated even on the one or more outer surfaces of the second elements. Thus, even in the case of the laser bundle exceeding 2kW, the expansion of the lens by the change of the initial form and initial dimension of the lens is evaded and the function stability of the optical set device is guaranteed. |
