In order to provide a single-lever mixer battery having a control part for the mixed water, a lever connected to the control part and pivotable about a horizontal axis to control the flow rate and about a vertical axis to control the temperature of the mixed water, and stops to limit the pivoting movement of the lever, in which, while retaining the entire pivoting range of the lever, mixed water at too high a temperature is prevented from flowing out of the fitting if the said temperature exceeds the value preset by means of the limiting stop, it is proposed that the path of motion of the stop cam (29, 129) should be outside the range of engagement of the stop (25, 125) when the lever (16, 116) is in the closed position and the path of motion is in the range of engagement of the stop (25, 125) only in any one of the open positions of the lever (16, 116), that, following the stop (25, 125) in the direction of the path of motion of the stop cam (29, 129) in the sense of increased addition of hot water, is a closing surface which can be passed by the stop cam (29, 129) only when the lever (16, 116) is in the closed position, and that means be provided by means of which, with the lever in the open position, the stop cam (29, 129) and hence also the lever (16, 116) can be pivoted forcibly into the closed position when it runs against the stop (25, 125). <IMAGE>
