<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an effect of a drop-out, etc., and to securely obtain a just tracking state by detecting a signal level of a regenerative signal plural times during one frame period. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic reproducing device 1 for detecting the signal level of the regenerative signal SRF to be outputted from magnetic heads 3A and 3B and performing a tracking control based on this detected result, the signal level of the regenerative signal SRF is detected plural times (t1-1, t1-2, t1-3), (t2-1, t2-2, t2-3) during one frame period. As a result, the effect of a drop- out, etc., is reduced, and hence the signal level of the regenerative signal SRF can securely be detected. By this method, the operation of a tracking volume is omitted, and hence the just tracking state can securely be obtained.</p> |
