摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain in high yield the title copolymer of high bulk density, crosslinkable with water, for adhesive use by prepolymerization treatment with a specified amount of an alpha-olefin of a catalyst comprising a transition metal catalyst and organoaluminum compound followed by polymerization between an alkexylsilane and the alpha-olefin. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a solid transition metal catalyst is prepared by incorporating a purified kerosene with magnesium chloride and 2-ethylhexanol followed by dissolving said two component under heating and then incorporation of phthalic anhydride, titanium tetrachloride and diisobutyl phthalate followed by heating to make a reaction. This transition metal catalyst is incorporated with an organoaluminum compound (e.g., triethylaluminum) followed by prepolymerization of >=2.0g per g of said transition metal catalyst of an alpha-olefin (e.g., propylene) to effect activation followed by compolymerization between an alkenylsilane (e.g., vinylsilane) and the alpha-olefin, thus obtaining the objective copolymer.
