PURPOSE:To easily control the diameter and volume of pores by removing CaO from a sintered body obtd. by sintering apatite contg. excess Ca to make the sintered body porous. CONSTITUTION:Apatite contg. excess Ca in >=1.67 ratio of Ca to P is sintered at >=800 deg.C to disperse CaO phase and to obtain a sintered body having 0.5-60wt.% CaO content. This sintered body is washed with water, exposed to steam at high temp. and pressure in an auto-clave, immersed in or washed with one or more kinds of substances selected among ketone, saccharides, sugaralcohol, polyhydric alcohol and a chelating agent or an aq. soln. of such substances having >=10wt.% concn. By this treatment, CaO is removed from the sintered body to make the sintered body porous. |
