PURPOSE:To rapidly restart normal use by providing the title system with a means for detecting a clock fault, a means for informing the clock fault to software and a means for switching a clock source by software control. CONSTITUTION:A clock fault detecting part 10 monitors clocks, and at the time of detecting the generation of a clock fault, generates the interruption of clock fault information to the software. The software knowing the generation of the clock fault from the clock fault information 20 executes the clock fault processing of a clock fault processing software 30 and generates a clock source switching instructing command 40 to a hardware in the process of the execution. A clock source switching part 50 receiving the command 40 generates a clock switching signal to a selector 70 in accordance with the contents of the command 40. After the clock is switched by the selector 70, an information processing system body 80 restarts the processing. |
